SPEND YOUR SUMMER EXPLORING THE WORLD OF ENGINEERING
UNH College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the UNH InterOperability Lab, CCom, and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard are again collaborating to bring an informal pre-engineering experience to the UNH campus for the summer of 2013. Based on the success of previous Tech Camps we offer two different camp experiences.
UNH Engineeristas: Girls & Engineering • July 8-12, 2013
A one-week camp experience for girls entering grades 6 and 7. This camp focuses on the wide range of engineering with planned explorations into environmental engineering, oceanographic and marine engineering, computer science, and mechanical and materials engineering presented by female engineers. Campers will participate in field trips to numerous campus programs and will have the opportunity to develop a project based on their area of interest. Residential and day camper options are available.

UNH Tech Camp 2013 • July 15-26, 2013
A two-week camp for boys and girls that offers two concurrent programs for campus entering grades 7 & 8 and 9 & 10. This camp explores electrical, mechanical, aerospace, biomedical, and naval engineering along with robotics and computer technology. Campers will participate in various on-campus and local field trips interacting with numerous engineers engaged in their work. Campers will work in small groups to develop and present a project. Residential and day camper options are available.
Day Tuition - $650* | Residential Option an additional $700 | Register
* Includes a non-refundable registration fee of $50.
UNH Tech Camp 2013 is a collaboration between UNH's College of Engineering & Physical Sciences (CEPS), James and Joan Leitzel Center, Liberty Mutual, NH EPSCoR, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, SAME (Society of American Military Engineers), UNH InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL), University of New Hampshire, and Whelen Engineering Co Inc.
