Blasting continues Rock crushing commences Installation of lift for people with disabilities begins Asbestos abatement continues. Rock crusher
 

Week of June 14

The "Tin Building" comes down. Asbestos abatement begins in the Kingsbury Annex (a.k.a. "The Tin Building"). Blasting to remove ledge begins between Parsons and Kingsbury.

A center stairwell is closed for installation of a lift to provide access to the third floor for the disabled while the Math Wing is closed for Asbestos Abatement The remaining occupants of the Math Wing relocate to other areas of the building.

Week of June 7

Access ramp for those with disabilities is completed, along with an automatic door, at the main entrance.
Rear parking lot is closed to make way for construction.
Mathematics Department moves to Nesmith Hall.

Christmas Break 2003

Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science Library moves to a former basketball court in New Hampshire Hall.

December 2003

1,000 feet of McDaniel Drive is rerouted to make way for the Kingsbury addition.
More than 5,000 cubic yards of ledge are removed in a month of blasting.

August 2003

Computer Science Department moves to the third floor of Nesmith Hall.
