What do chemical engineers do?
Chemical engineers analyze and design ways to transform and transfer material and energy. They are involved in research, development, manufacturing, and management activities associated with everything from heavy metals, alloys, and chemicals to food products, fuels, pharmaceuticals, artificial fibers, and plastics. They have a major role in solving problems related to energy, food, pollution, and industrial processes.
