ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 545 & 546L 5/21/07-6/29/07 M-F
Chem 545: A one-semester introductory course in organic chemistry, focusing on structure, stereochemistry, nomenclature, reactions and mechanisms. Includes an introduction to biomolecules. Note that this course is not suitable for pre-medical, dental or veterinary students. Prereq: CHEM 403 & 404 or 405, Lab; Special fee.
PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY 681 & 682 7/9/07-8/10/07 MTWR
One-semester survey course. Properties of matter, thermochemistry and thermodynamics, solutions, chemical equilibria, Chemical kinetics. Prereq: CHEM 403 and 404, or CHEM 405. Coreq: CHEM 682 Lab; Special fee. Great for High School Teachers opting for a refresher and obtaining CEU's.
